Baby on Dr. Pepper

My husband and I were babysitting my best friends son Oliver over the weekend. He is 21 months and was very hyper that night. His parents and myself and my husband love Dr.Pepper, so of course he likes it too (not that we let him drink it).
The night we babysat him he grabbed my Dr. Pepper bottle and this is what happened.
I love that we can catch moments like this and make them last...

The Dark Knight

I watched 'The Dark Knight' for the first time (I missed it whilst I was on my mission) this weekend. I had wanted to see it so my husband Brett brought it with some of our Target gift card money :)
I have a hard time explaining my feelings towards the movie. It was a REALLY good movie, but at the same time it made me feel kind of dark, I almost felt some evil.
The reason being the Joker. Heather Ledger did an INCREDIBLE job at playing the role of the joker, but the character was so intense, so real, you could almost imagine someone out there in the world being just like him.
Scary isn't really the word to describe the joker, although that he was. His character made me sad, sad that his life would be like that.
I am a little conflicted over this movie...I liked it, but at the same time I didn't...oh the media and how confusing it can be!

Coupons!

Are coupons a form of media? And by coupons I mean 'grocery coupons'...sad I know. But now that I am married I really like looking for coupons. Not only can you get them in the newspaper ads or the in-store ads, but they also have multiple coupons online that you can add your clipped coupons. You can print these coupons or have some mailed to you. I mean who wouldn't want to get 5 boxes of cereal for $5 instead of $20? $2 for chicken...BARGAIN! It's fun...you should try it! There are so many deals out there, you'll never have to pay full price again!! If you get really good like my sister-in-law, you'll be getting everything for free and even getting paid by the grocery store to get the most out of your coupons!
It's hard work, but so worth it! Try it... www.coupons.com www.smartsgrocery.com

iPhone iPhone, oh how I love my iPhone!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE my iPhone! There really isn't much I can't do with my iPhone.
I can make and take calls, send and receive text messages, take photographs, send photographs. Make videos, and send videos. I can check the time and weather in any country across the world. I can use it as a GPS, check my email, check my facebook, take notes, listen to music and download music. I can watch YouTube, shop online, read my scriptures and listen to conference talks. I can download apps like 'blackboard', 'wikipedia', and all sorts of games.
I have this really cool App called 'Shazam' if I am listening to a song on the radio but don't know its name or who it is by I can put on 'Shazam', it will listen, analyze and then tell me what the son is, who it is by, and more.
There really isn't much I can't do with my iPhone. I only really use my computer for school these days as I can surf the web and send emails from my phone. I feel lost if I leave my iPhone behind or the battery dies. It is a very addicting form of media, it encompasses pretty much all media, but I LOVE it and can't imagine life without it!
I LOVE MY iPhone!!!

Make It or Break It

If you are looking for cheesy drama, that is completely horrible, but extremely addicting, I have found the show for you. "Make it or Break it" is a highly predictable show about gymnasts, their lives and dreams of making it to the Olympics. It involves, boy drama, relational aggression, dysfunctional families and horrible acting.
ABC claims that it has been rated 4 stars by critics, which caused me to chuckle. But even though it is a ridiculous show it has a way of pulling you in. You want to know if they will make it to the nationals, if the secrets will be let out and if the relationships will "make it or break it".
There are many cheesy, drama filled adolescent shows like this out there, but this one most definitely got the biggest topping of cheese!
