The Dark Knight

I watched 'The Dark Knight' for the first time (I missed it whilst I was on my mission) this weekend. I had wanted to see it so my husband Brett brought it with some of our Target gift card money :)
I have a hard time explaining my feelings towards the movie. It was a REALLY good movie, but at the same time it made me feel kind of dark, I almost felt some evil.
The reason being the Joker. Heather Ledger did an INCREDIBLE job at playing the role of the joker, but the character was so intense, so real, you could almost imagine someone out there in the world being just like him.
Scary isn't really the word to describe the joker, although that he was. His character made me sad, sad that his life would be like that.
I am a little conflicted over this movie...I liked it, but at the same time I didn't...oh the media and how confusing it can be!

So I wanted to comment on this post before but couldn't :-)
Anyways, I love this movie! It is so wonderful but it is definitely really dark as well!
I felt the same way when I first saw it, but then after I desensitized myself by watching it a few more times it didn't bother me as much. My wife won't let me watch it though. She says it's a "bad movie". Either way I think Batman Begins was better.
